Muamer Vugdalič

Muamer Vugdalić (born 25 August 1977) is a Slovenian football player of a Bosnian origin.

Born to Sabahudin "Saša" Vugdalić, former handball goalie and current sports commentator on OBN television, Muamer's early years of his career were associated with Olimpija Ljubljana and NK Maribor. As an NK Maribor player, he played in UEFA Champions League in 1999/2000 season. On October 9, 1999. he made his debut for Slovenia national football team against Greece. These were the signals for richer European club to try to sign him. In summer of 2001. he signed a contract with Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.

After that he played for NK Domžale, AEL Limassol, Niki Volou and NK Interblock Ljubljana before he signed a contract with FK Željezničar in July of 2007.

He played 27 times for the Slovenian national team. He was also a part of the Slovenian 2002 FIFA World Cup squad.
