• Reference to adult movies hardly seems significant in the history of the city
• Many white South Africans "emigrating" to Transkei to avoid conscription doesn't sound likely (maybe a small handful) - citation needed.
• Ghost town / boom town - I found a recent article about this and added a reference.
• UCRFM as one of South Africa's most significant community radio stations - citation needed.
