[edit] March 2007

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices, as you did with LewisTjustice. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Real96 11:26, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Actually, user did use {{hangon}}, then a few minutes later deleted both it and the speedy deletion notice. Gimmetrow 11:32, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

If this article was about an online gamer, could you provide any reference that this gamertag exists and is notable? Nothing came up at gamertag checker, not even an Xbox Live membership. Gimmetrow 11:32, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

MrSmooooth 11:34, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Actually if you check again I think you will find a gold account exists.

OK, found it. Now is this gamertag notable in any way? Has any third party mentioned it? Gimmetrow 11:39, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

MrSmooooth 11:40, 30 March 2007 (UTC)LewisTjustice is an upcoming pro gamer and is soon to be a winner of a major tournament sponsored by many big companies such as AMD, ATI and Pizza Hut.

Has LewisTjustice won anything yet? Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, it does not report on events that are uncertain to happen. Gimmetrow 11:45, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

MrSmooooth 11:48, 30 March 2007 (UTC)No, he has not BUT he has been asked to go to the Gaming World Cup to play Pro Evo 6 and is also currently number 2 in the world at Brian Lara Cricket.

If you can verify any of that with third party sources, mention it in the LewisTjustice article, which currently still exists, before it is deleted again. Gimmetrow 11:51, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

MrSmooooth 11:55, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Will a picture of the Brian Lara ICCCWC 2007 leaderboard save the page?

Including the screencap would help. Some third-party references would be ideal. Has this person been written about in any magazine, online or print? I would suggest getting the screencap or a reference before trying to repost the deleted material. Gimmetrow 12:08, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

MrSmooooth 12:12, 30 March 2007 (UTC)OK. We can get the screencap within the day but there is a website in construction about him.

OK. If/when you recreate an article, try to write it in an encyclopedic style, stating just the facts. I'll put this talk page on watchlist, so if you need any more help just ask here. Gimmetrow 12:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of LewisTjustice

A tag has been placed on LewisTjustice, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --OnoremDil 15:53, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

I have removed my request for a speedy deletion, but I will likely be starting an WP:AFD on the article shortly. --OnoremDil 15:57, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
