Portrait of Mrs. Charles Willing, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1746. Mrs Willis is wearing a gown in imported Spitalfields silk brocade designed by Ann Maria Garthwaite in June 1743 (the watercolour design for the silk survives).
