[edit] Keep San Antonio Lame
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for writing this article. Unfortunately it doesn't conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles. However, please do not be disheartened by what may happen to your first article, if indeed it is deleted. Please continue to edit Wikipedia and add articles which conform with the inclusion criteria. For more help, see Help:Contents and to find out what will probably be deleted, see Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks, and if you have any questions, please ask them on my user talk page. To do this, click on my name (just after this sentence) and click discussion at the top and then the (+) button at the top. Accurizer 22:10, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Hello again. I did not personally delete your article, I nominated it to be considered for deletion by an administrator. In my view the article did not meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria, specifically WP:N. An administrator agreed with the nomination and deleted it. Here is a link to the deletion log for the article: [1] (As you can see it was also deleted once before by a different administrator.) If you feel that it does meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria and should not have been deleted, you could contact the administrator who deleted it to discuss the matter, or you could request that the decision be revisited at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Non-administrators cannot view deleted articles, but if you contact an administrator and request a copy of the text, they could make it available to you if they wish. I would like to add that you should try to not take the deletion process personally. It is necessary to ensure that Wikipedia retains verifiable, notable encyclopedic content. Keep Austin Weird has over 75k Google hits and has likely reached a level where it is sufficiently notable to have a Wikipedia article. If you disagree with this you could nominate it for deletion. I hope this answers all of your questions. If you have any further questions you can leave a note on my talk page. Regards, Accurizer 20:24, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Hello. Nothing personal; please see the above reply. - Lucky 6.9 03:13, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Please understand: Just because this site is open content in no way means that anyone can simply publish anything. We need to be very careful regarding notability. If not, this entire project becomes a free-for-all. FWIW, I've contributed to six features, have a slew of original articles...and I just had an article of mine deleted by consensus. Reason? Notability. - Lucky 6.9 03:41, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
