[edit] Regarding edits to Theism
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Mrdmidbar! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule example\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links guidelines for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! [edit] Allow me to explain more compleatly
The reason I reverted your edit for not being a reliable source is because it links to a blogspot.com page, and as per Wikipedia's guideline on what a reliable source is, (WP:RS) which links to what a verifiable source in Wikipedia is, (WP:V) you'll find "Anyone can create a website or pay to have a book published, then claim to be an expert in a certain field. For that reason, self-published books, personal websites, and blogs are largely not acceptable as sources". Exceptions to this are rare, an example i'm familiar with is when the blog or personal website is, for example, being used in a Wikipedia article on the blog, the writer of the blog, the website, or other situations like that. However, when used in Theism and several other articles like what you're doing, a blog entry from pretty much anything would not be a reliable source at all. "D. Midbar" is not identified as anyone of note in this blogspot entry, and from what I can tell based on my experiences on Wikipedia, this person's personal blog post is not appropriate as a source in any of the articles you have used them in. - Thinking about your username, are you actually this D. Midbar person? Homestarmy 00:53, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please do not SPAM
In reference to your many identical edits all of which insert the same link to the same blog:
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia.
