Mr Know-All is an episode in the British TV series Tales of the Unexpected; this episode set in the Virgin Islands.

A pretty medical student, Elly Somerton, is working as a hotel chambermaid and falls for a guest at the hotel, Professor Max Kelada. Kelada is a well-known archaeologist with a profitable sideline in identifying ancient artefacts, and he is is staying at the hotel, but womanising and fun are more on his mind than business. He gives Elly what he says is a pre-Columbian statuette, with Mayan influences, and when he succeeds in seducing her, she is sacked by the hotel's assistant manager. Then Kelada is asked to authenticate a statuette identical to Elly's which the wife of the hotel's assistant manager has had for some years and which she has told her husband she found on an archaeological dig..."
