accomplishments
I added to Ken Kennedy's accomplishments, which I found here: [1] OutRider2003 11:48, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
Finlay/Hornswoggle
Why does the part about Finlay and Hornswoggle feuding with Mr. Kennedy being taken out? Is it too soon to add? Because it's also on Finlay and Hornswoggle's page.
Zack Shadow 19:13, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
I tried adding that yesterday, but it's gone now. Don't get what I did wrong, there..
Money In the Bank and WrestleMania
Why can't we include on his page that he will be in this match. It has already been televised and added to WWE.com, I also think it is worth noting that this is his first WM match. -Eric 19:47 EST, 1 March 2007 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 129.24.249.135 (talk) 00:48, 2 March 2007 (UTC).

If you look very closely on the WrestleMania XX DVD, Kennedy is the first Druid on the left during The Undertaker's return entrace. The cameras even get a good shot at his face, for the most part. Perhaps this could be considered his first WrestleMania? --dilk85
Microphone?
I haven't contributed to this entry yet, but I have a concern upon reading it. Is "old-school microphone" really the best name we can come up with for the mike Kennedy uses? The term is vague, and I've never heard this mike referred to by that name before. "Boom mike" or "overhead mike" seem like more appropriate terms, but if anyone has one better, I'd be willing to hear it. However, "old-school microphone" doesn't cut it; will anyone who's never seen Kennedy wrestle before really know what you're talking about? -A random browing user, 22:20 EST, 1 September 2006
I think the only other term that might clarify it would be something like "boxing microphone" as boxing ring announcers are generally the only other people who use them 68.101.32.184 04:43, 12 March 2007 (UTC)Eric, 00:43 EST, 12 March 2007
Well it's actually a "55SH Vocal and Speech Microphone" if you people wanted to know. It's used in many sporting events and can even be plugged into the announcement table if needed! It's main design was for radio. This particular one will separate outside noise and only project the sound of the person talking into it. Govvy 11:44, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
It's not a boom mike, as it's just on a cord, not a boom.69.216.128.177 08:30, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Neutrality problem
Some of the language in the second paragraph seems a little off. There's this comment: "The name Mr. Kennedy comes from his previous nickname that he often used for playing computer games at LAN parties in Green Bay, WI."
First - what is the authentication of this fact? Second - is it relevant to wrestling fans or Wikipedia users? There are much bigger issues with this sentence though:
"Although the Mr. Idiot character is a heel, he has the admiration of most Internet fans."
Besides being an A-DUHHHH moment (smarks like charismatic heels, what a shock) it definitely seems to be a comment not in keeping with the NPOV. If the article were truly neutral then nobody would care whether he was admired or not. Kennedy's bio should stick to verifiable facts and his accomplishments to date, IMHO. BronzeWarrior 08:36, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- Minor addition: smarks like charismatic heels, with actual wrestling ability.
- ...ability!

- minor addition: Smarks' opinions don't matter. TheJudge310 21:02, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Finisher
On here, it says that the Kenton Bomb is a name to his current finisher. On ByteThis! he stated that it is a Senton Bomb. His current finisher isn't named anything, also as he said on ByteThis!. So i'm changing that...yeah.
I will confirm that he said that on Byte This January 11, 2006 --Trick man01 03:55, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Jeff Hardy's finishing move is the swanton bomb and Sean O'Haire calls it the Seanton bomb, though they are all senton bombs. The way it is now is perfect. 24.110.21.111 02:15, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Earlier career
Does anybody know of his earlier career? On the aforementioned edition of Byte This, he said that he developed his as yet unnamed finisher in a match with Austin Aries. Where was this?
this happened in green bay wi for a fed called acw or all-star championship wrestling. this fed has had stars such as aj styles, kennedy.daivari, austin aries, chistopher daniels,cm punk, and others come through and worked.the 3 that were there for the longest are aries, ken kennedy(formerly known as anderson and kamikaze ken), and daivari. those 3 actually started together in 02' i believe. to find out about acw now called nwa wisconsin check this link out and check out the former roster. many of todays stars have stopped in green bay wi in a fed probably only a handful of people outside of green bay and wisconsin know or knew about.today the nwa wisconsin is a struggling fed with no support, back then they would draw 1000 people on a volleyball court. http://www.nwawisconsin.com/
His finnish back when he was "Kamikaze" Ken was known as the "Kenton" Bomb. It stated simply as a rolling senton to a laying opponent, but in his last 2 months before signing to OVW he added the fireman's carry portion of the finish. If they leave it up to Ken his finnish probably will never get a name... Ken probably would rather the fans give it a name by chanting it at live events... Guess he needs to face for that to happen.
-NickSentowski 17:01, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
P.S. NWA Wisconsin is hardly struggling. Crowds are down worldwide compared to back in 1996-2000. We have consistantly outdrawn all of our competition for at least six months! You want struggling feds in Wisconsin, check out Mercury1
Just want to take a moment to state that Mercury1 at this time is no longer struggling, and I would like to remove my previous comment. Thanks, -NickSentowski 16:51, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
Finishing move...
His finishing move is not "super." "Super" refers to any attack off of the top rope. Pay close attention and you'll see that his finishing move is done from the middle rope and not the top rope.
Why is his finisher called the JFK here? I've only heard it called the Green Bay Plunge. That's what wwe.com called it as well. TJ Spyke 23:21, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- Ken Kennedy called it the JFK as such in an interview on The X 92.5 FM on the 25th of May. --- Lid 23:26, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
-
- OK, I didn't know since I didn't see that mentioned on any website. TJ Spyke 23:52, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Birth Place
There seems to be a valid arguement going on about wether Ken was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin or Minneapolis, Minnesota. While it is true that Ken currently lives in Minnesota, he did also live in the Green Bay area for several years. I will see if I can find reliable proof of his POB.
-NickSentowski 21:56, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Proof
At http://www.geocities.com/kamikazekenanderson/bio_hedr.jpg Ken was born March 6, 1976 and is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is not 100% proof of his place of birth, but good enough for now. I am also talking with other friends to discover the true story.
-NickSentowski 17:34, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Kennedy is billed from Green Bay, Wisconsin. I've seen that he's from Minneapolis, but in WWE, he's from Green Bay. --dilk85
-
- WWE.com [2] refers to him as the "Green Bay-born Kennedy". Other sites of less validity are split between Minneapolis and Green Bay, but I'm sure a lot of them get Minneapolis from Wikipedia itself as many people get their info from here. I think we should do it like TV.com does it and list him as being born "in a place under debate" until we can know for sure. [3]. Also how do we know Kennedy was originally supposed to be Mr McMahon's son? It could have been leaked out by the WWE to keep the internet community guessing when it was finally revealed to be somebody else. I think it should be changed to "reportedly" as I don't see a good source that's enough proof. Just my opinion RealFerrari 22:07, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Entrance Music
Does anyone know the title and artist of Kennedy's theme song? That would be good for the trivia section, but I have no idea what it is. Tim Long 23:44, 3 June 2006 (UTC) Don't know either, i like that song. I'll try to find out what the name of the song is. Emilos 16:45, 12 December 2006 (UTC)emilos
His theme is called "Turn Up The Trouble" and its written by Jim Johnston and sung by Ted Nigro.[4]

Article rename?
Since his real surname is Holmes (Anderson is actually his mother maiden name), and there are other Ken Anderson's listed on Wikipedia, would it be better if this page was moved to either Ken Holmes or Ken Kennedy? --JFred 04:38, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- I have moved the page to Ken Holmes, however, his WikiQuote page needs to be moved as well. --JFred 04:47, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- Um... His real name isn't Holmes... It's Anderson... He's a friend of mine --NickSentowski 12:48, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Intresting Fact
Should a fact be added that kennedy has only done the standing green bay plunge to Funaki on a live TV show? (X kid)
- Using a move once is not notable (unless it's something like Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania SSP), so it shouldn't. --- Lid 04:32, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- In his second Velocity winning match he faced Funaki and beat him with the standing one to. He's only used it on TV twice, and only aginst Funaki.
Current Picture
Could we please change the current main picture of Kennedy to something else? He looks too much like John Cena with the Camo hat and the open palm (the "You can't see me" taunt). Blacklist 06:16, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- I was just thinking the same thing. I was like "I didn't click the John Cena article." --Antoshi~! T | C 06:44, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- I know it looks like John Cena with his HLR shirt and hat.
(X) The picture now is ok...see if any 1 can fund a picture of him in his red seat pants....he llooked kool in thoose...
Green Bay Plunge & JFK
I don't believe that these were ever official names for moves, therefore I had deleted them... I don't think that a finisher that's been used about ten times over a 7 (guessing) year career is all that notable... Besides, the "JFK" or whatever you want to call it, is the same as the Kenton Bomb, he just added the fireman's carry to it.
- NickSentowski 13:07, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Notable or not a finisher is listed, see Edge and Kurt Angle for other examples. Also Kenton is top rope and is a bomb, JFK is middle rope and is a slam. The JFK name comes from an interview he gave about 2 months ago. --- Lid 14:51, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Where is this mystery interview??? Wikipedia is an encyclopedia--therefore proof is needed! At the moment there is no proof that this is the name of the move so I am putting up a citation notice. Anyone who wants to be smart and take it down I will start deleting the name entirely. --Fr3nZi3 15:34, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- Here is the mysterious interview - http://rapidshare.de/files/31634128/kennedy_interview_05_26_06.mp3.html --- Lid 01:28, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
That's all that was required! It wasn't too diffcult was it!?!?! The proof is what was needed, and the move is called the JFK. Simple as. --Fr3nZi3 03:35, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I've also seen an interview where he calls it the Lambeau Leap. I'll start looking for it and we can get back to the fact that he changes the name to his finished every other day. Rabbethan 11:03, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- I believe that Lambeau Field contacted WWE and told them not to use their trademarked name. Tino 21:52, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
German heritage
Does Kennedy have any German heritage in his family? Because I saw him speaking some German. Govvy 23:01, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
--Anderson denotes Scandanavian heritage, to me. Perhaps Swedish being -son. Also, being from Minneapolis and/or Green Bay, that plays more into the Scandanavian heritage. Obviously Kennedy denotes Irish.
Quote from SvR2007
Should we add the Kennedy quote from SvR2007 when you start "Misteeerrrrrr...MARK HENRY!"? I personally think it's funny.
Oh, and if you don't know it, it's the "personal hygeine" one. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 989 RVD (talk) 21:59, 24 December 2006 (UTC).
- No. A line recorded for a game doesn't constitute as a quote, funny as it was. -->So sayeth MethnorSayeth back|Other sayethings

- I concur. Funny, but it's not like he ever actually said it on television. Nor has he been associated with Mark Henry in any way at any point in time to my recollection. CardDuelWars 01:54, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Fictional Irish-Americans?
I was surprised to find that this article was listed under Category:Fictional Irish-Americans. Yes, Kennedy is an Irish name, and Ken Kennedy is certainly a character. Still since this is a biographical article about Ken Anderson, not the on-screen character of Ken Kennedy, does it really make sense to put it in the fictional Irish-Americans category?
209.247.5.204 23:14, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Also his character was never said to have Irish ancestory. I will remove it. --64.229.74.22 22:31, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Not only that, his surname is Anderson, which is originates from Germany, so I think he has German ancestry. Govvy 22:51, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
--Anderson being Irish as Kennedy is no different than Terry Bollea being Irish because of Hogan. Aditionally, as mentioned above, I think Anderson has more of a Scandanavian connotation to me. --dilk85
Definitely not Irish, first of all, I have seen him speak a little bit of German, next you should look at Anderson (surname) It doesn't cover the fair few Anderson's that are from Germany. But it should. Govvy 11:08, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
Announcers
I've changed the article because it would confuse people as the announcers have said that all his victories over world champions were in 2006, when his victory over Booker T was 2005, this was said it the first taping of smackdown in 2007. 217.44.169.253 14:30, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
The announcers always say he's beaten six world champions, but Rey Mysterio had not been a heavyweight champion at the time of his loss to Kennedy. Were they referring to his world cruiserweight titles? Booker T was not a WWE heavyweight champion, but his five WCW titles count. pud--11:17--02/06/07 - 68.114.194.234
When they announcers (or Kennedy himself) talk about the World Champions he has beaten, it simply means that at some point, those guys were a World Champion. Whether they win it prior to or following the loss to Kennedy, they still count it.
And please leave the info on the defeated World Champions in the article, as it is a major part of his gimmick, thus making it notable.
Ohgltxg 21:52 19 February, 2007 (UTC)
And in response to the person that asked about Rey, Kennedy defeated Rey a few weeks after SummerSlam last year in a US title defense.
Kennedy?
I was always under the impression that it was Vince McMahon who bestowed the Kennedy name upon him. Mainly because Vince saw great things with him and "gave" him his own middle name as a stamp of approval.--HDC7777 20:31, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Nine World Champions?
At money in the bank randy orton and edge were deafeted in the money in the bank match, does this count as kennedy deafeting nine world champs?
We'll have to wait for the WWE to comment on this. -- The Hybrid 09:28, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
I doubt this counts as defeating the rest of the participants as it's a convenient loophole to let Edge remain undefeated at Wrestlemania. We'll see. 141.213.184.6 08:20, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Very important match missing.
Okay, I am not putting it back it, someone else can, but in order for Kennedy to get to WrestleMania he had to qualify, now this is an important match and needs sticking back in to his bio. Thanks. Govvy 11:20, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Kennedy's DDT
Is his DDT really a snap DDT? Everysingle time he has used his DDT, the opponent was on his knees. At the Royal Rumble against Batista, on Smackdown against Jeff Hardy and on another Smackdown when he ambushed Batista(which was tonight). The opponent is kneeling and does a DDT to them while they are on their knees so its a type of low level DDT almost. I dont know if theres a name for that DDT or if its a variation of the snap or what. KonigBerserk 01:39, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
It's a snap DDT. There's no defintion on what position the wrestler has to be in order to apply the move. I've also bolded it, since he's using it as a finisher now.--24.184.169.37 17:58, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Edit
Zack Shadow 18:58, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Since I'm sure that the "Kennedy and Finlay are currently an unofficial team" part of the addition of mine would eventually be edited to be in past tense, I decided to save whoever that would be some time, and change it to "Kennedy and Finlay then became an unofficial team" now.
proposed move
Ken Anderson (wrestler) → Mr Kennedy
Mr Richardson 21:20, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- Wasn't it originally that? I don't know. It wouldn't really make a difference unless people don't know him by Ken Anderson, which is unlikely nowadays. The pages for most of the other wrestlers, if not all of them, have their real names as the article name. So it sort of should stay the way it is now. After all, it was put that way for a reason, right? Word up. CardDuelWars 01:49, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- I would say it's generally better to have biographies of actors (which professional wrestlers basically are) under the person's actual name rather than their stage name. Then have their stage names redirect to the article. So right now when you type "Mr. Kennedy" in the search box it redirects you here. It's better to have the article under the person's actual name because that's consistent with how almost all film and television and stage actor bios are titled here. Also if Ken Anderson ever left the WWE and started wrestling for another promotion like TNA then he probably would begin wrestling either under his real name or a different stage name. Dugwiki 22:23, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
his height?
it says hes 6 feet inches, that seemed fine to me until i watched him in a match with eddie guerrero where eddie seems to be a litte taller then kennedy, so when i checked on wikipedia it said guererro was 5'9, so i guess these figures rent totally accurate.
6 feet 2 inches**
Notable match
Shouldnt the survivor series team qualifier match he had with eddie guerrero be mentioned, as it was guerrero's last match before his untimely death
- It's in there already....

Vince's Illigitimate Child
When announced officialy (kayfabe-wise) can somebody please note it. 82.4.71.30 19:39, 7 August 2007 (UTC) On wrestlezone it sayds he is MR VINCE MACHMON SON
the current plan is for Ken Kennedy to be revealed as Mr. McMahon's illegitimate son. If something would happen and the storyline would end up bombing, WWE has a contingency plan to fall back on. The plan would be to say that Kennedy "forged" the papers and lab results and is a con artist trying to get into a billionaire family.
The entire McMahon family will be involved in the angle with Stephanie getting involved sometime around October or November. This will then involve Triple H as he will come in and make the save revealing himself as Vince's son-in-law therefore setting the stage for the RAW main event at WrestleMania with him as a babyface vs. Kennedy, likely for the title with the entire McMahon family somehow involved.
USA Network's Bonnie Hammer loves the idea of the angle and wants another big three-hour special in October like WWE did last year with the Homecoming show. This will most likely be the show that reveals Kennedy as McMahon's son. Hints will be dropped on RAW each week until that edition.
Shane was told that he won't be needed in the ring until around the time of Royal Rumble. He will probably be Kennedy's first family victim. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Trutilthelast (talk • contribs) 19:45, August 23, 2007 (UTC). t He was supposed to be Vince's son but he was one of the 11 wreslers in the steroid scandiel so they chose Hornswoggle instead.
