Mr. Teddy

A short story by R.L. Stine about a girl who gives up her old teddy bear for a new one that turns out to be alive...and not very nice! In the end, she brutally rips up the new teddy bear and throws it out the window after being confronted with undeniable proof that the teddy bear was pulling pranks around the house. However, when she restores her old teddy bear to its spot on her dresser, it is revealed that her old teddy bear was behind the mess all because he wanted to be her favorite teddy bear... forever.

This story is very similar to another Goosebumps tale, Night of the Living Dummy.
