Mr. Steak

Mr. Steak was a restaurant corporation started in the 1962 by James A. Mather. The first Mr. Steak opened in Colorado Springs, CO. Its headquarters were located in Littleton, Colorado.

The Kansas City area locations were purchased by Paul Consiglio in the 1980s, and the corporation went bankrupt in 1987.

The only known location left is in St. Charles, Missouri. A location in Fargo, North Dakota closed in July 2007. The Independence, Missouri location closed on July 31, 2005. The Yuba City, CA location closed on December 31, 2003 and was replaced by a Chinese buffet.
