The first six Mr. Men books, created by Roger Hargreaves, Mr. Tickle, Mr. Greedy, Mr. Happy, Mr. Nosey, Mr. Sneeze, and Mr. Bump were published. Around Christmastime, Mr. Snow was published.

Mr. Messy, Mr. Topsy-Turvy, Mr. Silly, Mr. Uppity, Mr. Small, and Mr. Daydream were published. All of the first thirteen Mr. Men books were formerly known as Mister books. Later, the publication rights were given from Fabbri to Thurman Publishing.

Mr. Forgetful to Mr. Strong were published.

The Mr. Men books were published in the United States by various companies.
