I just want to note that the article as originally created is a copy of a work originally created at [1] on MediaWiki site licensed under [2]. Now, my understanding is that the Attribution condition of the CC license is incompatible with GFDL. The UIUC site records two authors contributing to the work:
- User:Rfruin, who I think can reasonably be assumed to be the same user, therefore they implicitly released the text also under GFDL by copying it to Wikipedia.
- User:Olivito2, who contributed a substantial part of the Applications in classrooms paragraph.
While it is likely that Olivito2 has no objection to license under the GFDL, it would be best if Olivito2 user could note at the bottom of the UIUC article that the article is also licensed under the GPFL so that there are no uncertainties. --Marcinjeske (talk) 10:54, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
