Movistar Guatemala is the Guatemalan company for international company communications provider Movistar, under Telefónica. In 2005, it was launched along with Movistar in several territories in Guatemala. Today, Movistar Guatemala is the third biggest cell phone provider in Guatemala, after Claro from America Movil and Tigo Guatemala from Comcel.
Movistar Guatemala provides customers with a range of different services such as Cell Phone Service, Internet Connections, Downloads and WEB Downloaded Entertainment and GPRS Web Browsing.
Movistar's call center is located in San Salvador, El Salvador and it attends customers in English, Mayan language and Spanish language.
Movistar Guatemala is also taking most of Latin America's huge tours into the country, such as concerts by Shakira in November 4, 2006 and also Paulina Rubio and Alejandro Sanz in 2007.
