"Moving on Up" is a 1993 song performed by M People, and was the second single release from the album Elegant Slumming. It has been featured in many films including the 1997 British blockbuster The Full Monty and the American comedy The First Wives Club. "Moving on Up" proved to be M People's biggest hit, reaching #2 on the UK singles chart. It also topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in the U.S. in 1994.
