Moving is the title of a comedy film produced in 1988 and starring Richard Pryor as Arlo Pear, a father moving his family cross-country.
Other notable appearances in the film include Randy Quaid as an annoying neighbor and Dana Carvey as a man with multiple personalities whom Arlo hires to drive his car (a black Saab 900 turbo) to Idaho. The movie marked the first film appearance of Stacey Dash, as Arlo's daughter Casey, and also contained a cameo by R&B musician Morris Day.

It centers on the mishaps that befall Arlo Pear (Pryor), his family and his car while moving from New Jersey to Idaho. The film was advertised under the tagline "On the New Jersey Turnpike, no one can hear you scream".
