Movement for the Left

The Movement for the Left (Movimento per la Sinistra, MplS) was a minor eurocommunist political party in Italy.
It was founded on 7 March 2007 by Aleandro Longhi, in a split from the Democrats of the Left after they had officially decided to found the Democratic Party. Shortly after Longhi merged MplS with the Party of Italian Communists.
