[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Sun_Jian_Art.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sun_Jian_Art.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Carnildo or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you.
[edit] Edits regarding China national football team
It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed content from China national football team. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. —TheJC (Talk • Contribs • Count) 23:24, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry if it appeared I was reverting you because I saw it as "vandalism", I should probably have said it might have been a browser problem that caused it (has happened to me several times). I now understand that you were simply removing the nickname lizards from the infobox (which I've now done after reading your message). The reason I reverted to the version before your 2 edits was because removing the nickname field results in {{{nickname}}} being displayed in the infobox, and the subsequent edit in which I guess you was trying to fix that resulted in half the article disapearing. It certainly wasn't your intention, and I hope you understand from this explanation why I did the revert. Yours, —TheJC (Talk • Contribs • Count) 02:02, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- I appreciate your quick response TheJC, I didn't notice that half of the article disappeared before you pointed out for me. I use Firefox as my primary browser for wikipedia editing, and texts disappearing from the text box while switching tabs weren't shocking news to me. I guess I was a little boneheaded by clicking on "Save Page" before I did a thorough check of what I've done with the article. My fault for this one and you should book me for that. I aplogize for the trouble I have caused, and I hope this will be the last time the name mouselmm appears on the warning list. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Dynasty Warriors 5 Musou.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Dynasty Warriors 5 Musou.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Sangokushi X cover art.jpg
| This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Sangokushi X cover art.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:23, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:AmazingRaceFamily.jpg
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:AmazingRaceFamily.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:49, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner.
