[edit] Secondly...

Thanks for your note regarding the speedy deletion of User:Mountain West Center. Firstly, some background. The reason it was nominated for deletion by another editor was under the criterion WP:CSD#G11 which is for blatant advertising. When I read the article I agreed that it did not assert sufficient notability, moreover as a user page, it should relate to an individual user rather than a group. You may also wish to familiarise yourself with the conflict of interest policy which discourages people writing about themselves. However, it's not quite so bad in this case because you're writing about an organisation rather than yourself individually.

May I suggest if you believe the Moutain West Center to still pass the notability criteria and can provide sufficient reliable sources as citations to that effect then you create an article such as Mountain West Center which will be unlikely to be tagged for speedy deletion.

Please feel free to get in touch with me further regarding this, or any other Wikipedia matter. All the best... The Rambling Man 17:31, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
