[edit] Blind trainers?

I was hoping someone could help me here, does anyone know of any characters who have ever trained blindfolded or who are blind already? I'm thinking that Mousse might try training with a variety of people to expand his skills beyond dark magic as additional assets. Tyciol 07:18, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Check out Shiryu the dragon saint from the Saint Seiya series; he's experienced fighting blind since he always pokes his eyes out or is blinded by his enemy when he has a major fight.Facer 06:42, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tenten

Does anyone know if Tenten from Naruto is inspired at all by Mousse and Shampoo, or is it simply Chinese cultural traits they share? Onikage725 15:31, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

I really don't see any strong resemblances between them, so at best it is cultural similarities. Derekloffin 15:37, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Actually I would have to say there is some similarity with team Gai and Ranma, Ryoga and Mousse, for example: Neji is a naturally gifted fighter capable of countering many of his opponents moves though his over confidence did cost him a victory when he underestimated Naruto Uzamaki (Such as Ranma who is also naturally skilled but when underestimating his opponents he may loose), as for Rock Lee he has always struggled and suffered to get where he is and has always lost at the hands of his rival and refuses to ever give up, and despite having advanced skill in tai-jutsu he seems to always be one step behind his arch rival, he also has a very emotional nature (Similar to Ryoga, but with more agility and speed and less indurance), and Tenten posseses chinese clothing, traits, and by the Naruto 2 ark she sports a long sleeved shirt, and in combat she posseses an advanced skill in marksmanship, hidden weapons, weapons summoning jutsu, and a remarkable handling in numerous types of weapons better than any other character in the series, but despite this she has low hand to hand combat skill (Like Mousse, but with better eyesight and a different gender. Plus Mousse has excellent hand-to-hand skills) Xer 22:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree with all those points... I know Naruto's creator was a fan of Dragon Ball and Yu Yu Hakusho and whatnot, maybe Ranma too (why not, plenty of ppl love all four shows). Though I guess it is too speculative to add to this article. Onikage725 11:01, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

I guess we should'nt add it just yet, but maybe we should wait and see if anyone else agrees with this speculation.Xer 03:25, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

I don't read the Naruto manga, but perhaps we should wait and see how Tenten is developed further in Shippuden, as what I've seen so far in part 1 (up through ep 170 at least), other than the weapons specialization and mastery their characters are very different from each other. It can also be argued that Tenten's ability to summon weapons is not limitless, but I'm not fully familiar with how the summonings are supposed to work in this regard. --BrokenSphere 22:07, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dark Magic

Erm... I'm pretty sure this isn't just "hiding things where it's dark". In one episode, he managed to conceal a giant bomb bigger than he was and weighing several tons in his cloak. you'd need some sort of magic powers to pull that off.--Marhawkman (talk) 13:22, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

I guess I'll go fix it, but I was hoping somebody had an idea as to why that got stuck in the article in the first place.--Marhawkman (talk) 06:17, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
