I've put a bit of work into expanding this article, but it's still not perfect- in particular, the section on the quarry is sorely lacking statistics in my opinion, so if you do manage to find any more than I could, please do contact me! How does the river get to "crown" the steep hill? Surely its a canalised river and flows by the side of the hill? amused Victuallers 15:00, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

I'd love to be able to find a citation so I can add to the article that the quarry blasts at 12.30 every day. Virtually all villagers (plus a decent proportion of people in Quorn and Swithland) would know this, but I can't find a darned citation! Georgethe23rd (talk) 21:01, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
