Mousesports is a e-Sports gaming team from Germany. Mousesports fields teams in many different games and are particularly known for their Counter-Strike team and Nihilum: Mousesports MMO. Mousesports is one of the founding members of the G7 Teams. Mousesports is also a strong opponent on par with SK Gaming, regarding all games, even Nihilum's World of Warcraft PvE competition with SK Gaming.
"The clan, as it is also called, was founded in Berlin in 2002 and its name stands for sports played with a computer mouse - mousesports. Having merely played Counter-Strike in the early stages, players from all around the globe travel now around the world playing several games and representing mousesports worldwide." [1]

[edit] History
Mousesports was formed in 2002 as a German Counter-Strike small-scale organization under the same name. Starting off as talented players in the first place, Mousesports began to go up against other teams in small tournaments and began to make a name for themselves as time went on. By 2006, when G7 Teams was created, Mousesports was one of the greatest gaming organizations in Europe, consisting of Counter-Strike, Warcraft III, Quake 4 and Unreal Tournament.
Every year following 2005, Mousesports has been amongst the champions of their varied subdivisions of the organization. The policy of Mousesports has always been to look for talent instead of formal applications.
In 2007, Mousesports sought a front in World of Warcraft as a talented gaming team to represent Mousesports as it had been in other fields of videogaming. On Sunday, May 13, 2007, Mousesports announced that it had formed a partnership with the official #1 World of Warcraft guild in the world, with Mousesports being the dominant partner. Therefore, the guild was made into a community and renamed as "Nihilum: Mousesports MMO". Nihilum is now Mousesports consistently strongest gaming team in the European competition.
