Mount Linn (also called South Yolla Bolly Mountain) is a 8,092 ft (2,466 m)-high mountain located in the South Yolla Bolly Mountains region of California's Northern Coast Ranges.[1] The mountain is the highest in the Northern Coast Ranges south of the Trinity Alps.[2] The high elevation of the mountain allows it to receive heavy winter snowfall and it has low average annual temperature near the summit.[3] A tarn named Square Lake is located to the north of the mountain.[1] The mountain contains glacial basins which were formerly glaciers on the mountain during the Ice Age.[3]
