It rises from the head of Seitz Canyon, and is part of the west wall of Right Fork Canyon (a branch of Lamoille Canyon). It is a spectacular part of the view from the road in Lamoille Canyon, rising over 4,100 feet (1,250 m) above the canyon floor at Camp Lamoille. The summit is a high glacial horn, located about 22 miles southeast of the community of Elko.
