[edit] Divide

Would Motti be more or less the same as "divide and conquer"?

"Divide et impera" is a political strategy. --Vuo 11:12, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Indeed they are different concepts and looking for an analogy there is a bit far fetched, as there are significant principal and practical differences, but the general thinking behind both is the same: to divide the opposition in smaller separated groups and prevent them joining their forces against you.
