Does this line actually exist? I can't see anything on the route map and timetables at First Scotrail indicating trains that start at Motherwell and end at Cumbernauld. Nach0king 22:53, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Yes; for most of the day, it's an hourly shuttle service leaving Motherwell at xx37 and Cumbernauld at xx10. It is Table 224 in the National Rail Timetable. There is no service on Sundays, and some peak-hour journeys on weekdays start at "odd" places (Milngavie/Dalmuir/Garscadden) and terminate at Coatbridge Central instead of Cumbernauld.
