The Mottle-backed Elaenia (Elaenia gigas) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist shrubland and heavily degraded former forest.
