[edit] Biography
He began in T2P and had a very promising career until he was sidelined with a shoulder injury in September, 2000. He became a ring announcer and other staff duties during his rehab time. In November 2003 he returned to the ring in exhibition matches for the Dragon Gate promotion. In 2005 he resigned from wrestling in Dragon Gate. He returned to ring announcing and associated himself with his former T2P mates. He returned in January 2006 and began wrestling in Michinoku Pro and El Dorado. He began a violent feud with Manjimaru which ended with them having to collectively pay off the debts they accumulated in damages that occurred in their hardcore matches. He was then recruited into Sukiyaki by Kondo.
It was announced in February 2008 that Mototsugu Shimizu will be competing in CHIKARA's 2nd annual King of Trios tournament, representing El Dorado alongside fellow Japanese indy wrestlers Michael Nakazawa and Go, paired in a first round match-up against The Colony.
