Mother Tekla Famiglietti

Mother Tekla Famiglietti is the Abbess General of the Order of the Most Holy Savior of Saint Bridget (the so called Swedish branch of the Bridgettines) and considered one of the most influential women of the Roman Catholic Church[1].
She joined the Bridgettine sisters at age 14 and has been heading the order since 1981. She had a close relationship with Pope John Paul II and was present at his death bed[2].
