Mossy Cade (born December 26, 1961 in Eloy, Arizona) is a former professional American football player who played safety for two seasons for the Green Bay Packers. He attended the University of Texas.
He served 15 months[1] in jail for sexually assulting a family member in 1987 in a widely criticized decision as he faced a maximum of 20 years based on the charges he was convicted of[2].
Upon release, he was signed by the Minnesota Vikings but was quickly released after public outcry over his signing[3].
