Description

Monument marking the graves of Moses and Patience Rustin Proctor at Proctor Cemetery near Hazel Creek, located in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The Proctors were the first Euro-American settlers in the Hazel Creek area, building a cabin near where this monument now stands in 1829.
