Hi. I know you're familiar with municipal government structures and their treatment by the Census Bureau and I would like your opinion on a proposal of mine. I have suggested merging town center CDPs articles into the town article. Please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Vermont#Merging town center CDP articles into town articles and Talk:St. Johnsbury, Vermont#CDP change for details. I'd like to hear your comments about whether the town center and the town should be treated as two different places or if my merger is acceptable.
