Mr. Sweig is a native New Yorker and started in the building maintenance field as a young man. In 1973, he was named chairman of the board and CEO of National Cleaning Service Contractors, a company he later merged with OneSource. Mr. Sweig is considered “an industry legend.” His company ranked #60 on Crain’s New York Business Top 300 Privately owned companies for 1991 and 1992.

Mr. Sweig’s son, Michael, rose to president and CEO of National Cleaning Service Contractors (1985-90). In 1991, he founded Lakeside Building Maintenance, in Chicago, IL, which merged with ABM Industries Inc., the largest janitorial service on the NYSE. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.105.45.126 (talk) 19:04, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
