Talk:Morris Chestnut
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
When Morris' name is added to the category of "Phi Beta Sigma brothers", it gets deleted each time. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Lesanichelle 05:39, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
- I added his name to the Phi Beta Sigma brothers' list one day as well, and it was deleted the same day. I don't see why his name should not be on the list because it states in the article that Chestnut is a member of Phi Beta Sigma. There are also several sources on the Internet that back up this claim also. 209.215.58.250 19:33, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Yes, as a member of Phi Beta Sigma, I can also back up this claim. I add the category everyday and come back and it gets deleted and I am about to add it again.
- Wow, it's a shame that these people don't believe you, and you are a Sigma yourself. Unbelievable. TamYum 06:50, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Morris Chestnut
Morris Chestnut is not a member of Phi Beta Sigma. Although his name appears on about 75 Phi Beta Sigma websites, he is definitely not a member of Phi Beta Sigma. And you can verify this by contacting Phi Beta Sigma through their official website www.pbs1914.org.
Also, you may look at their "official" notable members list. If he was a member he would have been listed on the national Phi Beta Sigma website and he is not: http://www.pbs1914.org/sigmatoday/notablesigmaentertainment.asp
Or you may chat with members of Phi Beta Sigma at http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/showthread.php?s=e82a1c4d5b17db99c48317fa63e41800&threadid=36400&highlight=morris
