[edit] Youngest delegate?
The article claimed that Mason was the youngest delegate to a national convention ever, citing his being a delegate to the 1980 Republican Convention. But he was 25 years old at the time. There have been lots of delegates younger than 25. See [1] (17-year-old delegate, 2000 DNC); [2] (19-year-old delegate, 1976 RNC); [3] (17- and 19-year-old delegates, 1996 DNC]; [4] (17-year-old delegate, 2004 DNC); [5] (18-year-old delegate, 1972 DNC). If Mason had been a delegate in 1972 at age 17 and been younger than the other 17-year-old delegates, that would be worth talking about, but we would need reliable sources to support that. --Metropolitan90 02:57, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- He then had been the youngest delegate up to that time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ericroberts76 (talk • contribs)
[edit] Sourcing
I have attempted to source this article per Wikipedia's policies on verifiability. I have tagged as fact needed a source I could not locate--for Mason's work for the Reagan campaign. I hope that somebody else will be able to provide a source for that. --Moonriddengirl 13:40, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
