The Moroder Family originating, from Urtijei, Val Gardena, Italy gave birth to many artists, mainly sculptors and painters, a musician and film score composer and sportspersons:

  • Albin Moroder (1922-2007), Austrian sculptor.
  • David Moroder, Italian [[luger ], world champion], and sculptor.
  • Egon Moroder Rusina (1949), Italian painter.
  • Giorgio Moroder (1940), multiple Academy Award winner, Italian musician.
  • Karin Moroder (1974), Italian cross-country skier, olympic bronze medal winner.
  • Johann Baptist Moroder-Lusenberg (1870-1932), Austrian-Italian culptor.
  • Josef Moroder-Lusenberg (1846-1939), Austrian-Italian painter and sculptor.
  • Ludwig Moroder (1879-1953), Austrian-Italian sculptor.
  • Petra Moroder, world champion in freestyle skiing.
  • Rudolf Moroder Lenèrt (1877-1914), Austrian sculptor.
