Moroccans in Canada

Moroccans began arriving in Canada in the mid 1960. Coming in search of employment and a new life. Between 1962 to 1993, 70,000 settled in Canada. The next wave of Moroccan migration came in the late 1990s.

Moroccan immigrants settled mainly in Quebec,but there are also communities in Toronto,Vancouver an Ottawa.

It is estimated that around 240,000 Canadian Moroccans live in Canada. Many of them are not registered at the Moroccan Consulate in Montreal.
