Morleys (department store)

Morleys is a department store in Brixton Road, Brixton, south London and part of the Morley's Group of stores, a group comprising five outlets. These five department stores are Morleys of Brixton, Elys of Wimbledon, Smith Brothers of Tooting, Bodgers of Ilford and James Selby of Islington.

The Brixton shop was established in the 1880s and originally traded as 'Morley & Lanceley'. It is now a member of Associated Independent Stores, a buying group, which supplies a large number of small and medium sized independent retailers with textile and other non-food goods.
