[edit] Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. I like the name - good to see that moogles are getting the appreciation they deserve. I've noticed you've added a few pictures to articles. Although pictures are good we are restricted as to which pictures we can use. Copyrighted images cannot be used without permission from the copyright owner. If you have copyright information and permission for your uploaded pictures then please mention this on the pictures' description pages. Otherwise, I'm afraid the pictures will have to be removed. --Moochocoogle 18:52, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Hi, it is standard practice on the day-of-the-year articles not to have repeated years appear as links...

That's supposed to be that way :)

[edit] Regarding Card Captor Sakura entries

Hi. While your sidebar information entries in the various Card Captor Sakura articles are appreciated, it should be noted that creating new stubs for characters solely to display sidebar information is probably not a good idea, since there really isn't enough information about them to merit an article. I refer to the Meiling and Chiharu articles, specifically. In any case, the sidebar information is not particularly important, and including them for each character isn't really necessary.

[edit] Fictional birthdays

I think that fictious birthdays should be added to the month & date pages when necessary because that's information, too.

"necessary"? You have got to be kidding.
In any case, whatever you meant, as far as I'm concerned, ficticious birthdays belong if they have some significance other than a randomly chosen number, as they do for Harry Potter, The Pirates of Penzance, and Astroboy: in the Harry Potter books, the birthdays (NOT the years, which are pure guesswork) form part of the story; in The Pirates of Penzance it's a (rather silly) plot device; and in the case of Astroboy, the exact date is well-known enough in Japan to have merited a parade on that date. Chococat's birthday? Who cares! --Calton | Talk 07:16, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
I understand that the years are obviously up to speculation. I don't see why this information can't be added to any of the date pages... Asked and answered, as the lawyers like to say...or maybe I should say, "answered and asked", since that was the order. Speculation is speculation, not information.
And I repeat: Chococat's birthday? Who cares! The date is meaningless, of no significance other than a random date chosen to fill out a character card, like Chococat's supposed birthplace (Houston?!?) or blood type. --Calton | Talk 04:07, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Ff130.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Ff130.gif. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu Badali 01:27, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
