Every copy of this tape is hand-made. Max Wood of Applied Communications wrote the following about this album on his website:

"the only idea I was always convinced of throughout making this tape was that when one puts hearts and guts into sound form, it should be done instantly. it should ooze as much integrity and honesty as possible. that is, lyrics shouldn't be changed, parts shouldn't be altered to sound "cooler", and bad vibes should never be corrected with good ones. and during the time this was recorded (January - July 2005), there were a lot of hearts and guts to instantly log into form. these songs were recorded in two separate dorm rooms I lived in at 400 broome street in new york, a fabric storage closet where chad matheny (emperor x) lived for an oddly long amount of time, and in my bed at home during a pretty obnoxious amount of dental surgery (14 fillings, 1 root canal, and the removal of 4 fully impacted wisdom teeth!) in a hydrocodone haze."
