Montrail is a leader in the ultrarunning community, not just with creating trail running shoes, but was one of the first of its kind to embrace the sports of trail running and ultrarunning with events for these athletes. It is important to the history of the sport, and has been featured in Backpacker Magazine, Runner's World, NY Times, Outside Magazine, TrailRunner Magazine, etc. The company also sponsors the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, the premier ultrarunning event in the US. The company sponsors 88 ultrarunning athletes, and donates to various charities. Blively07 23:18, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

If you want to assure it does not get nominated for deletion, work all the features listed above into the article as sources. As a Portland company you may want to try the Portland Business Journal as well. Aboutmovies 23:52, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
