Talk:Monsterland and Monster Island
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Has anyone confirmed that "Monster Island" and "Monsterland" have two different names in the original Japanese? If they don't, the whole thing should get one name. Ken Arromdee 03:57, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
- Where does this fit in with Godzilla Island? Trollderella 06:40, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
Godzilla Island isn't the same. Though it does feature Godzilla as a hero, it didn't air during the Showa series period, it can't fit into Showa continuity, and the name in Japanese clearly reads "Godzilla Island" and not "Monster Island". Ken Arromdee 20:50, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
Why is the Kilaaks link not showing up or working at all? In addition, on the linked-to page, the Contents list doesn't contain the Kilaaks subsection... -JC 02:42, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thoughts on Mothra
The article says this: "This raises some questions. Why, or how, did Mothra leave Infant Island? The island had been her home for eons, why leave? Did she leave on her own, or was she moved by the U.N.? Secondly, where were the shobijin? Did they have any say in Mothra's relocation?"
Didn't *two* Mothra caterpillars hatch from the egg in "Godzilla vs Mothra"? Maybe one of the Mothra caterpillars became an adult and took up residence on Infant Island, and the other stayed a caterpillar and went to Monster Island?
Just a thought.
