Monty Sarhan is the CEO and Editor-in-Chief[1] of Cracked Entertainment, the parent company of Cracked Magazine[2] and CRACKED.com. The print version of the magazine was revived in 2006, with Sarhan telling reporters, "I knew I wanted to cover comedy the way Rolling Stone covers music. I want to become the definitive voice on the subject." However, both Sarhan and the relaunch were a failure and the print magazine was cancelled after just three issues. The company continues to maintain a website.
Prior to acquiring Cracked, Sarhan practiced corporate law in both Boston and New York City, including the international law firm White & Case. He is a graduate of Tufts University, Boston University and the Duke University Law School. Sarhan remains active in fundraising and other activities for his alma mater.
