Monty Goldman is an activist for the Communist Party of Britain who has stood in elections for various Marxist parties for forty years.[1]
Among the various elections that he has stood in include the Mayor of Hackney and Hackney South and Shoreditch (in 1997 and 2005[2]). His last electoral candidacy was when he came bottom of the poll with 37 votes in the Springfield Ward by-election on 20 December 2007. [3]
