Monte San Vito is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ancona in the Italian region Marche, located about 20 km west of Ancona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,959 and an area of 21.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Monte San Vito contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Borghetto, Le Cozze, and Santa Lucia.
Monte San Vito borders the following municipalities: Chiaravalle, Jesi, Monsano, Montemarciano, Morro d'Alba, San Marcello, Senigallia.
