Montceau-les-Mines is a commune in the département of Saône-et-Loire and the Bourgogne region of France. It is the second-largest commune of the metropolitan Communauté urbaine Creusot-Montceau, which lies southwest of the city of Dijon. In the 1999 census, Montceau-les-Mines had a population of 20,634.
