Montazeau

Montazeau is a small commune in the Dordogne département of France. Area: 1,378 ha. Population: 279 habitants.

It is fairly close to Bergerac and Bordeaux. Many of its inhabitants derive their principal income from winemaking. Its Latitide & Longitude are 44° 53' and 0° 7'

Montazeau is famous for holding an anual cheese-wine festival each year in which the townspeople make cheese-wine (a local delicay) and it is then judged by the mayor.
