Mont-Royal (AMT)

Mont-Royal is a commuter rail station on the AMT Deux-Montagnes Line in the Greater Montreal, Quebec, Canada area. Mont-Royal is in Fare Zone 1 ^[1]. Mont-Royal is also one of the three existing stations to be part of the new Montreal-Mascouche line, set to begin operation in 2010.

Mont-Royal takes its name from Town of Mount Royal (in French, Ville-Mont-Royal), where the station is located.

Town of Mount Royal, in turn, takes its name from Mount Royal, the mountain that dominates the Island of Montreal.

The station is located at 1275 Dunkirk Road. It is located at the eastern end of the traffic circle created by Graham and Laird boulevards, between Canora and Dunkirk roads, and between Lombard Crescent and Cornwall Avenue. Coordinates: 45°30′59,31″N, 73°38′36,16″W

Mont-Royal station was previously a stop for passenger trains leaving or approaching Montreal's Central Station on this track.
