Monsieur Cannibale

Monsieur Cannibale is a teacups ride in amusement park Efteling in the Netherlands. Designed by Henny Knoet and built by Mack Rides [1] it started operating in 1988.

Henny Knoet took the idea of a teacups ride and converted it into a cannibal theme, with 12 blue, red and yellow cooking pots turning on 4 different rotating disks, making for a variety in velocity and direction of the turns.
In the center of the ride a statue of a cannibal cook eagerly awaits the pots of food.

Ride capacity: 1200 passengers/ hour
