[edit] Overview

Mojo Jojo steals an artifact from Townsville's museum, and uses it to turn the people of Townsville, then the whole world, into dogs. As puppies, deprived of their powers, the Powerpuff Girls break the spell by causing Mojo to break the artifact.

[edit] Summary

At night, someone breaks into the museum and takes a snapshot of an artifact and place the snapshot in front of the security camera in a clever rouge to lead the night surviellance guard to think it's still in its place/Walk in to steal it without being caught. They then proceed to smash the protective glass casing and make off with one of Townsville's museum's most priceless and mysterious treasures, the Anubial Dog Head and a sack of jewels...

The next morning, the Girls are there to investigate but find no trace whatsoever despite literally turning the museum's floors upside down. However, they did find one clue present. The Anubial Jewels, which's absence had been almost completely disregarded in wake of the missing Anubial Dog Head.

(Elsewhere all the while, the missing jewels are being placed into the eye sockets of the head.)

The girls ponder this as they fly from the Meuseum but stop along the way when they see a dog trapped in a car. The dog turns out to be able to talk and apparently was once human. Out of nowhere, the entire town appeared to suddenly be full of dogs!

They try to answer the Mayors signal for them and find out the culprit but he transforms into a dog just before the main details of the violaters name come out. They leave the office to look for more clues...

{elsewhere} Mojo Jojo, the thief, is running amuck with the Anubial Dog head turning others into Dogs for an unknown disposition.

Once everyone in Townsville is transformed into dogs, Mojo has full control over their will and commands them to steal allo the precious jewels of Townsville.

Once he has possession of all the precious stones, he uses them to power a machine that magnifies the effects of the Anubial Dog Head, turning everyone into Dogs!

At home the girls manage to extract the name of the culprit from a now canine Professor. They are on Mojo's trail in a flash.

The Powerpuff Girls finally arrive at his layer to confront him but are immediately changed into dogs themselves. Mojo then sends security Rotweillers (Once free citizens who have also been changed to dogs and are also at the mercy of the Anubial Dog Head but have no will but to attack).

The now deemed "Powerpups" take out the three guard dogs and advance on Mojo who tries one final (ill-planned) route of escape. Still, Buttercup bites Mojo on his hind quarters when he least expects it, causing him to fling the Anubial Dog Head in surprise through the air just for it to come shattering down over his metallic helmet, ultimately cancelling its power over the world.

The Next Day, everything seems to be back to normal except for the one fact that the spell was reversed onto Mojo Jojo when the head shattered against his!

[edit] Important Facts

  • There are two dogs by the record player like Nipper and Chipper(the RCA mascots).
  • In Egyption Mythology, Anubis was a jackel-headed guard of Necropolis, The City of the Dead.
  • Though the Mayors head and Ms. Bellums bodies weren't necessarily attached to begin with, the sequence where The Mayor's human head is on his dog body while Ms. Bellum had a dog head BUT still a human body is exremely likely parodying the Sci-Fi movie Mars Attacks.
  • This episode marks the debute of the Powerpuff Girls arch enemy and later founded half-brother, Mojo Jojo.
