Mondim de Basto (pron. IPA: [mõ'dĩ dɨ 'baʃtu]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 172.1 km² and a total population of 8,470 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 8 parishes, and is located in the district of Vila Real.
The present Mayor is Fernando Carvalho Moura, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is July 25.
